Title: the lane 1 videos stink

I don't like these videos on the lane 1 site I think they stink.   I saw the Uranium and I was not empressed at all whoever threw it sure made it look like a melo ball that didn't do anything.  I thought that this ball was supposed to hook a ton and have a monster backend?  But after seeing the video it looks like a urathane ball it just goes slow and down and in.  I counted 7 revs and it took the ball 3.44 seconds to get down the lane so whoever threw it threw it like 12-13 mph and 180 revs.  That's very sad to say the least and it looks like a 6 year old girl threw it.  It hit the pins very soft to.  Those weren't messengers they were just pins rolling around the deck because the ball didn't hit them hard enough to put them into the pit.  At least they can get someone to make the ball look good not make it look like just an ordinary plastic house ball.  Whoever that was that threw the ball needs bowling lessons.  I sure hope it wasn't the owner Mr Buzzsaw but if it was he needs lessons to.

I agree with everything you said.. That guy is another lane #1 basher that probably averages 140 himself..

Jabroni, don't worry about it. Even though we have our arguments and disagreements, (sometimes really bad) we all know you wouldn't stoop that low.
You're OK and a great guy even if we do "scrap" hard at times. I still like you a lot and I'm sure some of the others that you have been at odds with, feel the same. Peace!!!!!...OK?

I'll back Jabroni up. It wasn't him, he's cool and who cares who it was. Just never reply to this guys antics or posts from now on. He has it all wrong anyways, it was my 4 year old daughter throwing it without bumbers which this guy probably needs.

I hate to side with an idiot, but the video does suck. I have seen a uranium in person and it does look more impressive in person than in the video. no bashing.

He throws a solid ball for sure but it didn't blow me away or anything.  I probably would have had someone else throw the ball that has more revs and speed just as an exciting sales pitch.  Apparently Lane #1 is making enough money to not worry about that... I guess

Well if it was possible, have a couple of different bowlers in the same video.
One as a cranker and one as the normal guy on there. This would more than likely make everyone happy.

I liked the vid's i seen of the uranium, one of the balls was thrown just as i throw mine.

Just haven't had the time. With my Web business, work, the Pro Shop, bowling, the family, life etc. I did what I could at the time for the Uranium when I got back into town after being gone for 6 weeks. This is all done on my own time and sent to Lane #1. Maybe more soon! I'm just loaded with work to do right now. I do have my yearly PBA Shot practice sessions coming back in late May at the bowl so maybe I'll get some video on those.

Good stuff man, i was really impressed at how it looked like the nugget was so versitale.  I would look into a uranium if it is just as versitle as the nugget.

I have both the Nugget and Uranium. Where I bowl the Uranium works better for me on a wider range of conditions than the Nugget. My Nugget was my favorite ball prior to obtaining the Uranium, but since I have had the Uranium, my Nugget hardley ever leaves my bag anymore, except in practice. I use it some in practice so that I can keep my Uranium in top condition longer.
