Good news..I went and bowled in a tournie today....and playing straight up 10, with my Tropical Storm..I shoot 220, 258, 245, 227, 243-1193. I qualified 2nd, got a 2 round bye into the semil finals and got smoked in my match play game 193-230 lol. Good times...

I have a 4 ball roller, a 4 ball roller with a joey, and two 2 ball totes; I don't actually envision having all of these by the end of next season, and may even sell a couple befoe the 2006-07 season starts.
BTW, I don't rule out a Masterpiece sometime down the road !!!
Oh, I forgot that I have a Perfection particle due in soon from Doug Sterner too; I'm gonna try a "pin-axis" layout on that one !!!

I got a question about arsenals... I have a Hot Rod Hybrid drilled for distance.. would the MP overlap the Hot rod and where would it fit?

Under normal circumstance the MP is significantly stronger than the Hybrid; it handles 1 to 1.5 degrees or levels of more oil and hooks a WHOLE lot more. Unless you have much higher ball speed than rev rate or unless you weaken the ball by a 6" pin to PAP, the MP handles no less than true medium oil at a minimum.

The Lanemaster Absolute Power, fits under the MP for me. It needs less oil and hooks in a more controllable manner. I have them drilled almost identically.

I don't see Lanemasters or Legends balls very often (more like, never) and I'd like to see how some of these balls really look. Somebody recently posted a pic of a World Class for sale and it looked nothing like what I was expecting, including that it looked pearly (but like a Brunswick pearl, so not too pearly) and more teal than anything.

I bowl 2 leagues and sub regularly on a couple more. I turn 50 this month and plan on putting in for my PBA card and getting into a few Senior Reginal tournaments in this region this coming season.

I plan on getting a World Class Particle within the next 2 weeks or so and if I am happy with it, then I will move on to the World Class Reactive and then the Straight Flush for the drier lanes. Yeah, and get this..... regardless of whats been written in the past, they will all be 14# balls if the first one works OK. Galen has convinced me they will do what I want, so I am going to "give it a try".
I feel these symetrical cores along with the covers that are on the balls, that there is a good chance they will match up to me better than the strong assymetrical cores that haven't matched up to me very well. I'm excited to try the first ball.

Well, I'm waiting till the Big-R-Bang comes out then I'm pretty much set..
My arsenal will include:
Terminator --> Medium - Heavy Oil
Big-R-Bang --> Medium
The Buzz --> Medium - Dry
Even though i wont be able to cover as much area of the lanes as you but it will be a nice start. What are you're thoughts on my set up? I was thinking about a NS too but i think it will have a conflict with the Big-R- bang...

Not bad ... but I'd prefer the WC or Big Bang for heavier oil and drilled STRONG !!! Can't comment on the Big R Bang yet, but the Buzz should work OK too.
BTW, I have a STORM Rolling Thunder 6 ball roller and a HAMMER 4 ball inline roller with a "joey", as well as a LEGENDS 2-ball tote for my overflow (but I'm really trying to keep it under an even dozen(currently at 11)!!!
