Last night rolled one with my YB in the middle game. Some might remember this is the ball that I traded to Barry for an Anger. Some how I think I got the better end of the deal.
Also, noticed on the LM/L website that 230-n-up rolled a 300 with a Masterpiece.
Congrats John!!!

congratulations Scott! The Yeah Baby is one awsome ball. I also bought a used one from a member on this site and have done so well with it I had to buy a new one from Buddies just to keep in my closet for a rainy day!!!

Nice going, Scott. Yes, you got the better of that deal.
STILLLLL wishing I could find enough oil to use one. Maybe I'll have to break down and polish it, as much as I hate to do that.

Don't be afraid to polish it, Jeff. I gave mine a real light coat last night and it got rid of that tendency to read the lane too early and over-react. Awesome, awesome backend and still handled a fair bit of oil. I've had to put it away after one game for the last few weeks because I had it dull (~1000-grit), but last night I got into the third game with no troubles. I'm rev-challenged and polished doesn't usually work that great for me, but the cover is so strong that the polish just keeps it from reading too early without throwing it through the breakpoint.

How does the Yeah Baby compare to the Terminator and Conquerer as far as oil handling capability?

Thanks, Shelley. It's on my list as near future experiment.

Did you shout "Yeah Baby" After the 12th?
I did when I shot my 278. They heard me halfway across the house.

shelley, Scott,
Tried the YB last night with some hand applied Lanemasters polish on a 2000 grit surface. The oil was too light (had to use a Centaur) and had no hold inside. I have a strong drill on mine for heavy oil and it flipped like a resin pearl. Unusable for me. I think I'd have to find heavier oil even for a polished YB.
