I do not put my thumb in. I use the Cherry Vibe and it is to aggressive. This ball was recommended to me. RH pin above left of first finger. Thats all I know. My speed is 17-18 thumb out and 21.5-22.5 thumb in. I am looking for some advice on drilling patterns for two finger style of bowling. So, with that said. I was looking into the Hornet. Can anyone point me in the right direction? It will be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking.

If we are to assume you get considerably more revs, throwing the ball at that slow a speed( as compared to your "thumb-in" speed)....then I would suggest that you go pin down, and slightly left of your middle finger. I am assuming you are right handed also.

The Hornet is sneaky strong! It looks like it won't get there a lot of times, but it always does, and scatters the pins well! Just my 2 cents.

Good Luck!

Thanks for your input Jesse. With the pin down, will I get more length? Will this pattern work for the Neptune? More help on this two finger style of bowling will be greatly appreciated... Balls,Drill Patterns or anything else that can help. Thanks again.

Remember, that Hornet has built in length by nature of its high polished cover.

Naw, you won't get any added length, you'll just get a smoother move off the spot! I suggested pin down because of your slower speed and added revs.

I have't thrown a Neptune yet. When I do, i'll let ya know.
