I've never heard of this but found it on a site.  Was curious if anyone could tell me more about it?

Thanks gurus!

It was Lanemasters first ball. Solid urethane, great ball for medium/lighter conditions. I drilled 3 over the years.

Lanemasters website says it's solid reactive.

I know but when the ball was new, their original web site it said it was urethane, so did the drill sheet.

The Extreme Impact was the ball that started it all for Lanemasters.  It is a Reactive Resin ball.  I've owned three over the years and to date, I'd have to say it is unmatched.  Check out the write ups on this ball here and at bowling ball review and I think you will be pleasantly surprised.  The ball reaction is typical Reactive Resin - easy length with a pronounced move in the backend - but the ball is anything but typical.  The carry that this ball produces is nothing short of mind boggling - I know from experience that Lanemaster and Legends balls hit hard and carry like no other but, the Extreme Impact goes above and beyond that.  Many times, far to many to count or remember, this ball has caused jaws to drop, including mine, in awe watching the pins fall down.  It is not just on the strike shots - missed shots, horrible shots always seem to bring about a good count and somehow splits are broken up with a pin flying in from here or there.  It's simply an amazing ball that dominates the "house shot", handles some oil but not the best choice for soup and works on lanes that are dry as its' ability to retain energy keeps it driving right on through the pin deck.  If you've got a chance to pick up one of these, you won't be disappointed.  As an aside, it is a ball with a stunning look.
