Since allstarbowling-Joe now has them for sale someone MUST have thrown one by now.....

Any initial impressions?

lanemasterlefty has thrown one and has it for sale already, that tells me it is too close to something else they make. My source is getting me one within 2 weeks but i have too wait longer than if you order from Joe.

I'm getting mine next week for Joe; 3 3/4 x 3 3/4 layout, pin above and to the right of the ring, cg above the midline, 3 oz TW and 3 1/2" pin. I'm STOKED !!!

Just got BTM for September ... there was an ad for it and it had the logo for USBC approval on the page too; again, I'll be checking with Galen on it this week.

I have LanemasterLefty's Black Pearl sitting right beside me.
Nice looking ball. I'll be drilling that and the Straight Flush in about a week.

No pic yet, but here's my layout:

3 oz TW and 3 1/2" pin;
3 3/4 x 3 3/4 layout, pin above and right of the ring, cg 3/8" above the midline, OOB, no WH (yet); BTW, the appearance reminds me of the COLUMBIA Reaction Richocet.

First night of league with mine after getting it in this afternoon from "Brown"; no practice with it, just pre-league warmups ... 246 the first game, then a 212 (a few frames of "operator-error"/fast feet kept that score down); for the 3rd game, I had to switch to my 4000 abralon & polished up Big Bang to clear the heads and midlanes as the Black Pearl got too strong on the backends.
 This ball is amazing !!! You can SEE it revving on the midlanes, but that pearlized cover pushes it through to the backends and then TURNS !!!

Another winner from Legends ... IMHO, at least !!!

Robb, do you have any idea if you would prefer it over the WC Reactive or not on the same conditions?

Jim,
 I actually changed to the WCR for the third game; it's a "feel" thing and I went strike, split, spare, split with it (just wasn't comfortable and the backends were jumpy as the pattern broke down); the move to the Big Bang worked because I moved up and a bit left, chased the inside oil line and, after sitting 72 in the 5th frame, I went "sheet" for a 222.

 I got mine in from "Brown" Tuesday and have 5 games in with it; 246, 212, 216, 267, 257(740 today); YUP ... a WINNER !!!
