Title: Black pearl box condition?
Post by: kdameyer on September 10, 2007, 11:51:15 PM
I wanted to return my black pearl to box condition after 40 to 50 games of use. The info to return it to box condition used to be on the Lanemasters website under the Technical tab.  I can't seem to find it on the new website.  Does anyone know where it is located on the website?  If not, can you tell me how to return it to box?  What I remember was something like wet sand w/ 400 grit, sand with grey pad, then factory polish.  Thanks for your help.

I couldn't locate it either; I'd call and ask for technical support at Legends (VERY helpful) ... just telling them your questions and someone WILL help you.

BO,
I left a message with Lanemasters tech support staff.  No return call yet.  When I get an answer, I will post what I find out.

I just got off of the phone with L/LM.  They said that they are in the process of adding that info back on the website. It was accidentally overlooked when they updated it.  It will be in the ball section, if you click on the ball in question, there will be a pane on the right hand side of the screen with techinal info.  If you click on that pane it will advance to a second page of info.  This is were they will put the resurface info.  Hopefully soon.

In the meantime, here is what they told me on the Black pearl.  Wet sand with 320, 400, 600 and then 800 grit paper.  Polish with High gloss polish and then scuff lightly with the white pad.
