There were several versions of this ball, among them a urethane and a particle pearl. There''s no way to tell which one you got. One I got hardly moved at all like yours. Another moved fine. I''d call Lanemasters Tony Martin if I were you.
Addendum:
The 2nd one I got about 18 months ago came highly polished. I checked the old review from about 2003, a long time ago in bowling years. Back then the particle pearlversion was a very medium ball all around very great for medium oil. Nowadays, it would be suitable for medium-light to medium oil. My new one was not a big hooked even with what seem to be a light particle load and pearlization. AS it broke in, it did hook more and more.

You might want to give yours some time to break in, using it in practice session, and don''t sand it too much. As I already mentioned, contacting Lanemasters themselves is best course of action to determining a solution for problems such as this.
