World Class or New Standard 2?
« on: October 03, 2006, 06:32:42 PM »
So... if I were to drill a New Standard 2 and a World Class.. both stacked leverage, which one would handle 45 feet of heavy oil better?

I have both, although my NS2 remains undrilled ... and based upon what I've seen from my WC and what I've heard about the NS2, the NS2 is NOT a "heavy-oiler" (even though it has a heavy particle load compared to the WC and it's medium particle load). I've heard that the NS2 is very smooth rolling and reacting, and I believe that's due to the particle load as well as the core and how they work together; the WC and its early-revving core and the lighter load, relatively speaking, gives it more "down lane push" and more backend.
Of course, this is simply my subjective opinion, and again isn't based upon practical comparisions of the two balls; for my opnion to objective, I would have to have them both drilled with the same layouts, virtually similiar TWs and pins, in their OOB condition, and roll them on the same lane to compare them.
