I've read alot of reports regarding how good the LaneMaster balls are, but now I get it. Recently traded my Lane 1 Cherry Bomb (great ball, last of my old 16# stuff) for a Big R Bang. I'd been looking for a good light/ med oil ball to complement my Virtual Gravity and Twisted Fury. This ball is one of the best balls I've ever thrown, and not just for lighter patterns. This ball is a beast for a down and in shot on heavier oil. Perfect ball for late set carrydown as well. I've yet to see another guy throwing this ball in my leagues. Too bad for them.

Funny that ball is one of few LM balls that never rolled well for me, but for another former driller of mine he shot over 800 with his ball.

actually, I just committed my whole arsenal to LMs. I have bought a lot of balls this past year (2008) and I keep coming back to what really works for me and my game.

And that would be LMs. Right now I am using the STING (stacked) and the TERMINATOR REBELLION (4x4) and the BUZZ (drilled to go long, probably one of the best THS balls out there IMHO)

And last but not least THE HORNET (superb lite-oil ball). I have a YEAH-BABY
but for some strange reason it seemed to have died on me?

although, having said all this I do still like STORM gear as that would be my second choice in bowling balls...
