BTM: I actually have a meeting to discuss the magazines Saturday and will probably be going to them for reviews so I think I can say yes to that.

Red Pearl was just sent to USBC so I don't think the approval will be until July 1 at the earliest because we are all going to be at Bowl Expo the next week or so.

Tony,

The Web site says the Red Diamond is "Matte 1000 grit".
That's pretty dull for a pearl. Is it intended to be an oiler?
(I know I can always adjust the finish.)

From the picture online, the RD has to look outstanding when polished.

Jeff,

I've already imagined it taken to 4000 abralon with a ton of extended length polish.  You'll need sunglasses to protect your eyes from the glare!  :)

Nah! That might limit its use. ;D ;D ;D
I can imagine a 2000 grit sanding +  a light polish for length.

I see a pin up 3000 abralon finish and a house shot killer.

The original Black Pearl did have a higher RG. (2.615 must be the high RG for the old BP.)
http://www.ballreviews.com/lane-masters/legends-black-pearl-t771.0.html

I wonder of Tony modified it for the new Black Pearl.
But the Red Diamond has the same core and its RG is listed closer to the old one, 2.568.

I assume Tony will clarify the true situation in the near future.

I thought it was pretty difficult to make those 2 piece balls have low RGs.  Correct?

Charlest the Red Diamond is a ball with the old school finish. It didn't perform like we wanted at a high polish.

And isn't the Endurance P2 cover of the Black Pearl Deep Sea a heavy dual particle load like the Terminator Resurrection and not a particle pearl?

What are the recommended lane conditions for this ball?
