Buzz Vs Hornet
« on: February 21, 2007, 07:28:02 AM »
Looking at the RG and Diff and having the same core would having both be an over lap of equipment?
Buzz - Medium to medium light
Hornet - Medium light to ligt oil?

I don't see how anyone can answer that question except the people who designed and tested the Hornet and the Buzz.

Many, many pairs, trios, quartets of balls have the exact same core and their reaction are totally different. See the Dyno-Thane Vendetta line as a starting example. See the Infernos, the Ones, Wraths, the Gargoyles as further examples.

A ball = core + coverstock, always.

Honestly.... forget the buzz... and drill a hornet... obviously the buzz grabs to early or to much...

or else they would not have designed the hornet..

its the better ball for the condition

the hornets coverstock is whats gonna help it not 'overlap.' by having a harder surface i'm reallllly looking foward to getting it and drilling it up..

The Hornet is basically a BUZZ with a harder cover/higher durometer reading.

Theoretically, that is the situation.
We'll see once the Hornet is released and tested.
