Buzz Report from Last Night/League
« on: December 14, 2006, 03:15:05 AM »
FYI.....Two decent games tonite/last night/Wed. on a bit less than medium condition with Buzz then should have put it away but stubborn trying to make it work shot 601. Bowled on 12 year old 1st Generation Anvilane w/ a 40' THS starts basic medium lane condition.  6:45 PM 2nd shift league bowling after a 4 man work league....no re-oil.

Buzz not a light medium ball for most. Reads midlane to well with my layout and technique. To much torque and finish for most to hold ball on line. I was into 20/arrows and should have put it up in 3rd game. Call the Buzz a medium ball for those that want a bit more length and finish. Put it away on torched heads. Agree with BTM's review.

From what I've seen from The Buzz and what I "think" the Satisfxion and Straight Flush will do on drier.  It looks to me like there is a hole in the LM/L lineup in between Satisfaxion/Buzz and Straight Flush.  JMHO so far from what I've seen and heard.

FWIW.....if I would have changed to The One <strong layout> on that deep of an angle into and inside of 20/arrows I would have fared better score wise I believe.....but ya have to give the ball a chance.

The buzz i have is true medium oiler, can play it up the boards on medium/heavy with good results. I agree with a pretty good size hole in the light medium area, i probably could not get straight to start up enough to ever use it. I rarely see drier conditions where i bowl anymore like before the oil absorbing balls came arond. Both houses have increased oil volumes to protect there lane surfaces, one helped create the kegel oil that is most oil viscous and then they went to a longer wider pattern to boot.

I'd have to agree with you two and say that Lanemasters need something between all these pearls and the Straight FLush.

I just drilled another Masterpiece, put the pin above the ring finger, stacked the CG below (5"x4" for me), sanded it to 2000 grit then polished it ands it still need medium oil to function.

Unless you have less than TRUE medium revs (300-350 rpm), a high ball speed to rev rate ratio or kill the surface (4000 grit + polish) or use 6" or mor epin placement,
all these balls (Masterpiece, Buzz, Absolute Power, Satisfaxion) require true medium oil to work at all. Probably the Big-R Bang  and the World Class Reactive as well.
