As i like to call my bowling balls.

DUD.. lol.

But on a serious note. It may just be the bowler making it look bad. We all know Lane Masters make some wonderful equipment, and i'm sure this ball is one of them.

What do you think it needs to do differently?  I seriously think the ball wasn't being used on enough oil...

So he's a stroker with about 225 rpms and not much speed.

What do you need to be impressed? pins flying all over the place?
Watch a bowler with 19 mph and 150 rpms. The pins will fly more than the onein Buddies' video.

On the other hand, are you waiting to be impressed by one bowler, with one drill bowling at a house you will never bowl upon, on an oil pattern you will never face, before you will buy that ball? One video should NEVER, EVER convince you to buy a ball, not if you have one lick of common sense.

If you look at the line he's playing and how many boards he's covering, it looked pretty impressive to me. Plus, I saw two different bowlers with two total different styles use the Conqueror at a SASBA tournament this past weekend and these hit like a freight train! It makes me want to drill one of the two I have put back for my rainy day drilling! As Charlest has said, make sure you use the ball on the proper condition, or you won't see it's true potential! I see guys time after time get a new ball and will try to make it work, because it's new and they want to use it instead of using the ball that the lane dictates! Thanks, Bruce

The Conq's roll reminds me of the NS2 but with more "rev" on backend. As with all L/L equipment the coverstock responds well to surface adjustments, great bowler, nice, vid, and killer music.

Wow, I guess I was throwning the ball bad in the video and didn't realize it.  The ball hooks a ton more than any other Lane Masters ball that I have thrown.  When I dulled up the bal it was too much ball for our normal heavier oil house shot.  If you want to see them compared, you can watch any other Lane Masters or Legends ball on YouTube.  I have them all drilled the same and they are all thrown on Freshly oiled house shot.

All the Lane Masters and Legends videos that I have shot are on the same house pattern with the same layout.  I don't have the Terminator in my bag to do a side by side.

I'm not really sure why some are calling this ball a dud?

I just watched the vid and thought the ball rolled very well.  In fact, it looks like it would be a killer on a tougher condition because of how smooth it was coming out of the oil.

Another very good vid from Buddies!

The reason it doesnt look impressive, is because the ball is very even. believe me, after throwing mine, it is great coming out of the oil, and very versatile.

Aggressive, high load particle balls rarely "look" impressive on video.  They tend to be even arcing, strong rolling balls that don't "flip" hard enough on the backends to be impressive.

When I watch a video of one of these type balls, I watch for the trasition in the midlanes and the energy retention of the ball once it encounters the drier conditions on the backends, not the "flippiness".

I also watch for balls leaked into the dry early, to see if the ball "over reads" the dry or whether it tends to "smooth out" the wet/dry portions of the lane.

If you want to be impressed by backends, watch some of the videos of balls designed to be that way, but when watching balls of this type, kepp in mind they have a purpose and watch to see it they fulfill that purpose.  You will be much more satisfied by what you find out.

for the amount if revs the guy had he cover a TON of boards, i like buddies videos they show what the ball will do for most bowlers. There are a few people that can thorw a ball and watch pins fly everywhere but there usually your awful house bowler.
