Well, I finally got to try out my ball, however, I'm not able to give a good review because no one working at the center could tell me about the oil pattern & amount. I dropped to using 14# equipment because of health problems, but you couldn't tell it with this ball. The ball specs were 14# 2oz, with 3 1/4" pin & 3oz top. We laid it out with pin just above & to the right of ring finger & the cg on midline almost stacked. Because my PAP is playing tricks on me of late, it came out about 3 1/2 x 3 with 1/8 finger wt & 3/4 pos side, no wt hole. My first game was leftover shot from the night before. The ball was just kind of archy with not a very big move on the back, but still good enough to carry the rack. Some guys I know were bowling to the left of me & got fresh oil before I did. They were flagging the headpin, making moves to the right & finally ball changes. They also said the backends weren't very good. Well, after I got oil, I just stayed where I was before, standing left foot on about 28, swinging to about 6 or 7 at my breakpoint & the oil just made this ball come to life. The ball glided through the heads, started picking up a good roll in the mids & then just made a very strong move to the pocket. This ball is probably suited for more oil than I was playing on especially if you have a lot of hand. It will be very suitable for my game on med THS shot & will be the first ball out of the bag. First impression of L/LM is very good!
