Yeah Baby

I have a yeah baby and I find it very speed sensitive. I don't find it to hook as much as my Big R bang and there are drilled almost the same fingers beside the pin

Try playing with the coverstock ... different grit and/or polish combos do different things for that ball.

If you're able to use the Big-R-Bang, there is probably not enough oil for the Yeah Baby! It's possibly burning up in the midlane. The YB is a very large hooking ball under normal circumstances and with enough oil.

Keep in mind that most house blend will hide the differences between balls.

Hey Pepsi,

I have both the YB and the Big R Bang and the other two posters were correct.  Keep in mind, when you throw the ball, soon as you see it stop sliding and beginning to roll, it may roll out due to low oil.  The longer the slide, it will have more impact and carry when it hits the pocket.  Reading the lanes and knowing when to change balls is a hard trait to learn.  I have seen balls roll out, half down the lanes and people didn't notice it, until I informed them.  An old pro tole me this a few years ago, "the longer it slides, the better the carry." I have followed this philosophy for the past few years and it has worked for me.  I feel, the YB is better suited for a heavy wet shot, in a tournament or sport league. In most league shots today, the lanes are a med condition, with dry backends.  By this, the YB can burn out, if your not playing in the oil.

Hope this helps!
