What is a skid flip ball in the current Lane Masters line ? The extreme damage ?
-
I tried an Xtreme Damage Platinum, the ball never really did anything for me. It has the skid particles and it really did just skid.
Mine was laid out strong with a 3.5" pin-pap, tried different surfaces (1000, 1000 + polish, 2000, 2000 + polish, 4000), tried different x-holes, and just never did much for me.
I'm a medium rev tweener around 16.5 mph and ball was a dud for me unless on dry lanes

The new Advantage is a true assymetrical with a marked mass bias and is angular as any assymetrical on the market.

16.5 mph, depending on where it was measured could be a little high for tweener. The XDP is designed, as near as I can tell, if it's anything like the original XD, for medium-light to medium oil. If you're speed dominant, then you need more dry for it to make the turn and it would be more appropriate for you to use on dry to light oil.
If you take to surface to 2000 or 3000 grit, it may be better for the amount of oil you see and for your release.

My Perfect, when used on medium-light oil, has a nice, little, asymmetric type of flip on the backend. As such, it can be a little hard to control. I may change the surface to allow it to pick up earlier in the midlane and have a more controlled backend.
Keep in mind that I rev- dominant. If you're equal or speed dominant, you will not see what I see with the Perfect.

My Extreme Damage hooks a ton on the light oil or short oil patterns. Fun ball to throw when my Lord Field Judgement starts to flatten out. I wouldn't call the XDP a skid flip motion but very hard arc the way I have it drilled which is pin over the ring and cg 3" below.
