The Buzz..........................
« on: March 12, 2008, 02:00:03 PM »
Hey LM guys!

Well i drilled up a Buzz about 3 weeks ago and it's been an interesting ball. I can't believe how this balls is so tame on broken down conditions. It fits perfect into my arsenal.

I was convinced to bowl a house tournament which goes on every sunday at one of the bowling alleys. It's called the Scratch Eliminator. The format consist of 4 games of qualifying, cuts to the top 16, then single elimination match play starts. The condition was very demanding. It was a 35ft short pattern with a very thin layer of oil. I played the lanes by going up the back of the ball playing anywhere from 1 through 5. You had to be dead accurate because if you got it left off your hand the ball took off. If you tried to play in the ball started to hook after it passed the arrows. If you swung it too far to compensate the ball never came back.

Anyways i bowled decent and made the cut. I bowled my first match against a good friend. I was able to play the lanes the same way i did in qualifying but with more speed. I got one lucky brooklyn and one light hit. The rest were dead flush. I was able to squeak out a 300. The last ball though i carried the 4-7, ahahha! It was great to be in that position again. Even though the tournament isn't sanction i'm still happy just shooting trey. I lost my next match and finished 7th.

Just wanted to share the news with you guys.

Thanks to my buddy TP. My LM ball rep i call him. AHAHA!

thats the buzz for ya... nice and tame when on just a little bit of oil... but let it sit there and it will eventually take off hard.

nice bowling all around. and i agree... its in the hands of the bowler not the ball.

Congrats!!!!

last night in my Friday night league using my YEAH BABY and then my BUZZ I finally shot a descent 728 series.

I had to change over from using 16lbs to 15 lbs about two months ago and when I did I first tried MoRich and then LaneMasters...to make a short story long  I now throw LaneMasters as I love the control I get with them.

and so far the more I throw The BUZZ the more I think this might be the best ball I have ever thrown.
