I sold my black pearl and then when I needed it I thought "why did I sell that ball?!!!!"

If I can get a replacement I would love that!

I'm also curious about this release as the black diamond was a solid particle ball that was more towards medium oil... kind of confusing. yet they do say on the website that this new one is for med/heavy. if so.... I might have to save up for it.

2 Particle coverstock. This ball will be able to handle more oil than the Black Pearl. We have not fully tested but the color design is final. Black/Blue Pearl.
We know what particles we are using just haven't finalized the particle load.

Picture will be up this evening on the website.

Christmas is fine with me, just as long as something else comes out before then to keep me occupied. A christmas release sounds about right, we don't want LM to turn into a "Ball-of-the-Week" company. Tony, remember I'll be anxtiously awaiting the next release.

We are releasing 6 balls this year and we are going to fit in those holes. I have 2 surprises but they will be the last two balls I put on the website right before Bowl Expo. Pictures of the balls will be available in a day or two.
Yes we are going to release balls before September. We are working on the catalog right now and will have it online the next week after Bowl Expo.

I will add another Ball on the website Wednesday!!

All I get is a blank area above the BDPP release info. There are pictures and descriptions of the current and new releases and I can see the Honor Sore scroll at the bottom. When I go to the site, there is a tab/ribbon across the top of the page. It has Home, Products, Honor Roll etc.

Products gives you the options of Balls, Bags, etc

The links I tried all work.

The Pro Guy saw me and yelled, "Hey they are bringing out a new Terminator!" I responded, "Put me down for one." He said, you are now number 16 on my first order, and showed me the list.

Come on, when will this really happen? I can't wait for this ball. And, it appears, others can't either.

I don't think any other ball will generate a buzz like this one could at my proshop or on the lanes here. I had to put mine down, as tendonitis in my wrist caused me to drop from 16 to 15 pound balls. I argued with the Doctor that I didn't care about my wrist. I didn't want to give up my Terminator and my Black Diamond balls.

Well, my first 15 pound ball was the XTreme Damage, and I fell in love again. I am waiting for the new releases to really fill out my arsenal.

BTW, being curious, I checked all lanes, and there were still 4 old Terminators being used.

Let me Qualify the Particle Pearl Part. It was to be a hybrid and the formula is for a hybrid cover. We lowered the pressure when pouring and got a nicer blend and better reaction(New Covestock). This is why the word Hybrid was in the description. We will be changing that today. I was in such a hurry to put it up I did not proof the verbage. Sorry for any misunderstandings.

Humm, maybe from Tony's post?

The Counter Strike, Sure Strike and Solid Strike all used the same core if I'm not mistaken. With a Strike name, with LM naming convention, I would think the core would be the same if not very similar.

I know what the current balls in my bag do and if I can compare what I have against what the new one's are projected to do I eliminate getting one that is too close to an existing LM ball. As much as I would like to get one of each there are limited $$ available and I can't afford to not add something that will not add to my lane options.

Tony i would like you to explain to us what these covers are on these 3 above??? The xtreme sounds like a solid particle, so I don't know where the hybrid is being seen at?? Those three balls cover descriptions on the website just confuse me.

Post by: TM3 LMBowling on June 11, 2010, 12:36:58 PM: A hybrid has a solid and a pearl mix. Generally speaking it is one solid w/wo particle color and one pearl w/woparticle color mixed together. Older balls had only pearl or solid mixes. It was hard to get a consistent reaction with older resin products. Now with all the additives available you'll see more and more of the hybrids as we have made their properties work together. When you see the XD Solid you will see Solid Black and Violet Pearl for example. I will have descriptions of all the balls on the website Monday. Thanks.

Tony''s already said they can no longer "do" those diamond particle coverstocks. Also, they want the new particle balls to be easily adjusted by the current type of abrasives available.

The Xtreme Damage is supposed to be close in type of ball reaction and performance to the old YB!. (I still have mine!)
