Title: thinking about trying l/lm
Post by: Tugger on November 26, 2006, 08:25:16 AM
I'm bowling high school bowling again this year and my team bowled a "kick-off" tournament yesterday. Anyways, My coach got a sheet from lanemasters saying we could get any ball off the list, a bag, a shirt, and a towel for 139.99. That seems like a really nice package to me so I'm thinking about getting something but I'm not real sure what to get. Right now I have a Brunswick Monster Frenzy Pin below and between fingers. and Brunswick BVP Punisher pin beside ring. I can't recall everything that was on the list that I  could get but I know for sure that the: Big Bang, Big-r Bang, Terminator, straight flush, World Class, Yeah Baby were on it. I think that's it but I could be wrong. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should get?

If it available get the BUZZ, that looks like a pretty good ball, and for that price get 2 or 3

Yeah if the Buzz is available, that is one great ball. But if not, I would go with a Big-Bang because it is Medium oil, which is what you will probably be encountering in your high school bowling team.

I'm thinking the Buzz will be too similar to the Frenzy and the Punisher.

It seems like you're using mostly light oil balls. If you want something that's one step stronger in hook and in oil handling ability, pick one of
the World Class Reactive, the Big-R-Bang or the Masterpiece. The WCR and the BRB are both highly polished solids. The MP is a pearl; all are of equal strength, with the BRB being longer than the other two. The MP is the elder statesman of the bunch and always reliable.
