The other day I noticed Buddies has the Ultimate Power available April 15. I was just wondering what to expect from this release. Any details would be appreciated

Final numbers on Ultimate power:

Low RG: 2.546
High RG: 2.570

Diff: .025

Coefficient of Restitution: 0.739  MIN:.650    MAX:.750
Coefficient of Friction:     .290  MIN:None    MAX:.320

These numbers are what brings the "CRACK"

I did not know that using those two numbers told you what the differential was.

Still a very low diff in my eyes, not that it is a bad thing in cases, but when i was expecting this to be a compliment to my XS power, which its diff is .55 I think, thats a big jump.

That is the definition of RG differential, the difference between the low and the high RG values, usually along the X and Y axes.

For asymmetric strengths, the mass bias "measurement"is the intermediate differentitial between the RGs at the X and Z axes.

The Buzz's, Hornet's and Sting's RG Diff were around .031" and they had good backends and overall hook.  .025" is a little on the low side  but I'm sure Tony and company did enough testing to insure they were happy with the results before the ball was issued. Remember this is a ball for dry to medium oil.

This ball is made with the Dynamic Power weight block not the XS power Weight Block (XS power used the Absolute Power weight block).This is meant to compliment the Dynamic Power in shape and reaction.

As I said before, you are going to be surprised by the ball and the way it hits. The numbers are very misleading in the performance of this ball. You are going to have a very controllable reaction with a very nice pop in the backend with power.
