what ball is the STING? It was approved JAN. 7th, 07'

Does anyone know if this is a dry lane ball?

There's a good chance this is the ball that some of the recent posts in this forum are talking about. Buzz core with a coverstock that reads 79-80 on the shore D durometer scale.

The Sting is NOT, I repeat, is NOT the new release to fill the "gap" between the BUZZ and the Straight Flush ... I got this info directly from Galen on Thursday when I spoke to him; as soon as I know the name of that new ball, I'll post an update thread.

I'm not really sure ... Galen told me a bit about it yesterday when we spoke, but was concentrating on other things and didn't retain that info; I'll follow up with him and see if I can do an update on it, OK

just by the name i would think it would compliment the buzz well weather being a heavy oil ball or whatever. either way its going to be a good ball b/c its legends/lane masters

The STING will be a medium load particle ball with the low-flare BUZZ core ... not sure on the coverstock color yet.
