Title: WCR Pin over or Pin under?
Post by: elew on July 22, 2007, 01:25:27 PM
I was just wondering since their is very little talk about the WCR. My is drilled with the pin over the ring finger and the CG below. I just wanted some input from the ones whom drill with the pin over the ring finger and the ones whom drill below the ring finger with CG out. What kind of reaction did you received and was this what you expected.

I drilled my WCR pin over and it loaped way to far down the lane.
Had it plugged and re-drilled with the pin under the bridge and Cg kicked at 40 degrees.  Now it reads the mid-lane and makes a consistent controlled backend move to the pocket.

You do realize that this bit of info means nothing UNLESS they also specify their PAP's up/down measurement, their tilt, ball speed and rev rate? ALl of those affect whether or not they need a lower or higher pin height above the midline. ONLY AFTER THAT does the oil pattern and lane surface come into play.
