First Strike is a "compound core" reactive pearl and the Sting is a high sheen, light-load, solid particle with the same low flare core as the BUZZ and Hornet. The Sting was designed for medium conditions and is due for release 16 July ... the First Strike is intended to match up with and to replace the Masterpiece.

Thank you x59, i knew somebody might know what they are talking about. My driller can get anything from the company before it come out, or if it limited edition. Does anybody have or heard of the Red Hornet, yea because he has one sent straight from over seas, and it is a legal ball in america

I talked with Galen today and he said that the Pro Performance pro shops have the Sting already. They get them even before they are available to the PBA. He also said that these pro shops plus the Lanemasters booth will be the only places to get the Conqueror. I saw 2 different posts on here about the core of the Conqueror (Terminator and AP2) and Galen confirmed that the core was the AP2 core and the coverstock was a stronger particle cover than the Terminator had. He said it would be a step above the Terminator in oil handling and would have a stronger reaction at the back.

He said that the coverstock was made out of 2 different hardness'; the outer cover was a 73 hardness and the inner cover (around the core) was an 80 hardness. He said this would reduce the footprint of the ball to allow it to continue to get thru the heads when other "bigger" footprints would start to burn up and also that the 80 hardness around the core would give it a higher coefficient of restitution. i.e. more energy transfer to the pins. Just thought I'd share.

My ball driller, Mike Miller is currently in the process of drilling my CONQUERER as I'm typing this. I will be picking it up in about an hour. I plan on throwing a few games with it tonight after league play is done. The house I bowl in usually holds the buffer pair of lanes for me to practice on.

I will post pictures of the actual ball tonight after I get done or sometime tomorrow.
