Lane Masters and Sport conditions

Hey people. I have the chance to get the Big Bang Particle, for a really really good price, but I need a question asked before I make the final decision. I am starting a PBA Experience League this summer and I needed a ball that can handle some of the heavier ball conditions. My concern is, that I have heard that Lane Master's balls don't do well on sport type conditions. Is this true or not. I haven't thrown their equipment let alone on these type of conditions. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Aw come on people! Not one reply!Give some feedback or something! I'm not knocking the equipment, I WANT TO BUY IT! I'm just looking to see if what I've heard about their stuff is false or not. Not many people throw their stuff here in the DC area, so some feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know why any particular company's equipment or any particular ball would be ill-suited to sport conditions.  One might argue that a controlled, even reaction is a virtue on tough shots, but there are just as many shots that score with an angular, skid-snap ball.

Which Lanemasters ball is suitable for which shot, is, of course, a legitimate question.  Will the Big Bang particle work on all of the PBA shots?  Probably not, and most assuredly not without some surface adjustment for each pattern.

Given the overall quality and versatility of most Legends and Lanemasters pieces, I don't think you could go wrong by picking up a Big Bang, especially for a good price.  And if I'm wrong, well, just send it to me and I'll make sure it's properly disposed of.

i had 2 buzzes and a sting that were my go to balls on sport patterns for most of my youth.. now im adult and dont bowl on any sport patters so they dont get much use and plus 900 global is making some awesome equipment that i match crazy well with

a Big Bang should do you some good. It has been a pretty good ball from when I have seen it. An angular, but controlled move with a good amount of power at the pins

I love the Big Bang & the Buzz on sports patterns. I use a grey scotch brite (lightly) on the Buzz to tame down the reaction and it works a treat.

I love my NS² drilled label on demanding shots. On long oil and slick surfaces, this high load particle piece, paired with the arcing setup, offers lots of control. A very good ball for this purpose.
