Post by: Brickguy221 on August 29, 2006, 03:31:49 PM
Does anyone know what the OOB sanding grit is on the World Class Particle?

Jim,
I'm pretty sure that it's 800 wet-sand, followed by a gray scotchbrite pad; but then again, you know where the guaranteed correct answers are, right ??? (Galen).

Thanks Robb. Just gathering information in case I feel I need to make a sanding grit change. That will give me an idea where to start if I decide to adjust the cover.

No problem, Jim; I WOULD recommend that you get the proper sequences from Galen though ... I have taken a few "L/LM" balls back to OOB after trying some adjustments and they have very specfic recommendations, and they CAN vary depending upon the ball, the current cover finish, what reaction that you're looking for, etc.
