Title: Xtreme Damage = 802 Series
Post by: Pat Patterson on May 21, 2010, 03:06:57 PM
I decided to use my Xtreme Damage last night and proceeded to roll games of 299-246 257=802 (left a 10-pin on 12th ball).  Thought I might have blown the "800" when I missed a 10-pin in the 8th frame of game 3, but struck out to preserve the 800 Series.

No "300" ring, but I'd rather have the "800" ring instead.  By the way, I never moved my feet or mark all night long and my whole team bowled well.
The whole team must have been destined to bowl well tonight.

Good bowling Pat.

I shot a 300 with my Xtreme a few months back, I'll trade it for your 800?

Hey Pat,
Great shooting and sorry you didn't get the 300 to go with the 800! Have you posted a pic of the layout? Bruce

Did I tell you I won the local tourney 2 weeks ago?

Rolled 703 in Qualifying.  Placed 12th and 14 advanced.  Then, 4 straight head to head matches that I won to the championship.

Of course, it was the XTreme Damage that I relied on throughout the night.  This ball held true as we switched lanes for each match.  While others were changing balls and having trouble with spent lanes, only minor moves kept the XD in every game through the end.

Great bowling Pat. One of the many strong points of the XD is its uncanny ability to stay in the pocket with few or no adjustments. I''ve rolled several sets this season with the XD where I finished the night within a board or two with my feet of where I started. I''ve had a control ball or two with similar characteristics but this is the first strong core ball I''ve ever used that remains in play for so long: Just what one needs to roll 800
