Title: Xtreme Damage is here!

My Xtreme Damage arrived yesterday in record time from Buddies. I went with the same basic layout as my Black Diamond 45 x 3 3/4 x 45 but the Xtreme has a P2 hole. I should be able to get some games on the ball this weekend.

Lucky you! I'm still waiting for mine to arrive, my proshop said it will be in no later then Friday.

at my rate mine might be here by christmas of 2010.i told my ball driller palmer when i first found out i put mine on order

My pro shop doesn't stock L/LM so I went with Buddies. The Xtreme was listed as back ordered on their website but contacted the shop and they actually had 2 in stock. Ordered Tuesday afternoon and it arrived Thursday at noon. Amazing!

I'm matching up well with the Black Diamond. I actually sold my VG and VE and ordered the Xtreme!

my local pro shop or any pro shop in MS. has no idea what lane masters / legends even is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! people ask me what im throwing and walk away confused when i tell them cuz they have never heard of these amazing balls. if high avg. house hack joe isn't throwing it then its don't exists to them. lol

How about 16 lbs? I've been waiting for quite a while and my pro shop is still being told that 16's aren't available yet.

Picked up my Xtreme Damage yesterday. It come in a matte finish, I thought it was suppose to be polished. I'm a wait to my Monday league to see what it can do.

Nope it's a matte finish. I believe Tony posted they polished the ball then scuffed it with a gray pad.

Buddies says it's "Factory Finish" ... just checked the L/M website and it states "Polish White Pad", so I guessing that this ball's OOB cover is their Factory Finish polish and then they hit it with a white pad, as opposed to some older stuff that was 800 Sheen (polished and hit with a gray pad).

Sound about right, Tony ???

I made the Xtreme with a more versatile cover. It will come in sheen with grey pad. The backend response with Grey pad with a medium particle load is much more significant than polished. But I also took the ball to a high polish before applying grey pad to give it the clean fronts it has. Smooth through the fronts and stronger in the back.

Terminator had the hard particles so it was a little harder to match the ball to the condition unless all you wanted was hook. The cover on the Terminator could not be manipulated like the Xtreme can.

The Real deal about the OOB Finish on the Xtreme Damage.

When we went to press for the catalog that was May 09 and I had an idea of what I expected the ball to be but only had two tests done at that time. I did more thorough testing before sending to USBC. I found the particle and load we put in worked better with a sheen finish with grey pad. 16#'s went to distributors. Thanks all!!

I picked it up last Tuesday. I just got done throwing it about a hour ago in league play, I shot 782. I polished mine up for greater length & return.
