LANE CONDITION

Length:  42 ft

Volume:  Medium

Type (THS, Sport Pattern etc):  THS

COMMENTS

Likes:   Drilled pin down for an early read on the rare occasions that I encounter heavy oil volume in this area.  OOB surface has a lot of surface friction to help with hook and recovery!

This ball was a missing integral part of my arsenal.  While our area does not typically put out heavy volumes of oil, I now have a ball that I can feel comfortable going to when I do encounter those conditions.  Ball reads the lanes early, and goes into a heavy roll, continuing with tremendous power through the pins.  It does not have the typical read early, and exhaust all energy, that many of today's balls have on heavy conditions.

Dislikes:   No dislikes on the ball yet, only that I don't get to use it enough due to lane patterns in our area.

This ball was my introduction to Lane Masters/Lord Field.  I was amazed how strong the ball was in fact a bit too strong and rolled a bit too early at my home house.  I added polish which increased the ball length and I was able to play my preferred line.  Bowling on a THS, I am able to keep my speed up and keep right and just go up the boards.  I'm very impressed with this ball and I will be looking to add a few more LM/LF balls to my arsenal.
