Title: Ball Choice advice
Post by: tmoore300 on January 02, 2013, 11:24:07 AM
New to the Lord Field staff and im waiting for tony to send us our prices on current equipment in the line, bowling league on murray synthetics(high friction) and hpl synthetics and travel league on wood occasionally, i am what most call a cranker but i dont have the speed true crankers have, i consider myself to be a power stroker, my pap is in my profile, any advice on ball choices? Im considering the Heritage, Torment, and Jacked or Exodus Pearl to get a 3 ball arsenal started.

Terry
I would recomend Torment and Heritage (must haves) then add the Nasty and either the Exodus Pearl or Pin Hacker if you can get one.

Hi Terry! My PAP is pretty high at 6" and you don't look like you track as high as me, but I am also considered more of a power tweener. I think you would like the Torment as an all around ball and since you see high friction at your house, it's a great matchup and takes surface adjustments well. Welcome to the team!

Thanks, that's the 1st ball I was considering, seems like that ball is comparable to the gamebreaker, which was one of my all time favorites. Definately grabbing it as soon as we can start ordering

Hello All. Happy to be a part of something new and exciting in bowling for a change. Can someone tell me what the earliest rolling ball in the current line is. I have a tournament coming up on a very long, flat heavy oil pattern on a hard surface (44ft). As soon as we can order I will get 2 balls to go with the Judgement.

Thanks!

Nasty then Exodus Iron

Thanks. Think I will order the Nasty first and see how it works.

I'm also new to the team and was wondering something. Best skid/flip ball from LordField would be what? Judgment?

I'm sure it will be the judgement

I wouldn't really call any of the "current" releases a true skid flip ball motion. With surface and layout I would look at Heritage and Pin Hacker both are clean and strong down lane.

pin hacker was the closest to skid flip of any of the current balls

I only have the Exodus Iron and the Pin Hacker but I would say the Pin Hacker is pretty skid/flippy for me anyway.
