Title: LF/LM and Tony Martin
Post by: xrayjay on April 20, 2014, 04:13:49 AM
Thank you again Mr. Martin for welcoming me to the LF/LM family this weekend.

With 2 pieces arriving next week, it'll be exciting to see these balls in action by next weekend. Again, thank you.

Exodus because I've wondered about it for a while and Crucial.

Tony is happy somebody is contractually obligated to buy every one of their balls.

I'm in the "advisory staff" (A3) level, I'm not obligated to use strickly LF/LM - yet.

I wanted to implement this thread, to make a statement that I'm extremely pleased to becoming a lord field/lane master advisory staff member.

I look forward to what lord field has planned and being a part of this process.

You might not be required to strictly use LF/LM yet, but if I remember correctly, you are obligated to buy a certain number of balls.  I think NHLfan was basically saying that by signing on with LF/LM, it's guaranteed sales for Tony.

"Yet".........A third one coming soon....

Yes, A3 is a trial staff membership, not oblige to buy strictly LF/LM....but, I'm looking to move up.... I received the first two today, next day delivery. I'm looking forward for more LF LM balls to come.

I thought I read that Tony Martin is not with Lane Masters anymore and Lord Field is not part of Lane Masters.  Why are folks combining the two?

Tony Martin is very much part of Lane Masters. If I understand correctly, Lane Masters is owned by California Bowling. California Bowling is the U.S. distributor of Lord Field. I'm sure any of the staffers or Tony can correct me if I'm wrong.

Danasaurus is correct and where did you get your info? Look at the lfbowling.com website and both companies are listed. It's part of the California Bowling Company.

Unless something has changed, this reflects what I know as the current situation.
From the LM web site:
"Tony has been in the Lane Masters family since the original ball company was started. Tony was involved in ball development, testing and also as an investor. Tony is now part of California Bowling, LLC the new owners of the Lane Masters Brand. Tony is available to everyone and will personally return all emails and phone calls. Tony overseas all aspects of the business including manufacturing and sales."

I've dealt with Tony when there wasn't a Lord Field and he was at the original Lane Masters. I placed orders with Galen and Teresa at L/M and then Tony was there before L/M went bankrupt. I was just asking where toocrazy got his info about Tony not being with L/M. I got an email recently from him about the new L/M balls. Just my $.02, Bruce
