Ok, so I don't get to bowl much anymore but I really have an itch to start getting serious again once things settle down. So I'm committed to the new Judgment Devastation as I'm looking to replace my El Nino 2000 which finally cracked and went to ball heaven.
Few things I'm wondering about as I've never A) drilled a LF ball and B) am looking for suggestions based on what some of the staffers and previous owners of LF equipment have experienced.
I'm working on my grip as we speak, doing a few redrills on balls and testing new spans and pitches with my new release. I have huge hands, my most recent span is 5 7/8" cut to cut, but I've played with 6" as well and with my new grip change it might still not be out of the question.
I can hook it a little or a ton, but honestly naturally even with trying to hold off the ball still turns with ease. That said, I'm looking for suggestions about pin placement and TW as well. I've stepped way from the game and I'm rusty at all the technicalities and being unfamiliar with this core is on my mind.
Wondering about layouts as I know this is symmetrical but how this core acts is always helpful to know.
Any help appreciated, I can't order right now due to a family emergency and tied up funds with that, so I have time to research and go from there.

You must be 8ft tall with a span like that. Goodness!

Judgment Devestaion is a great ball from hat I can see ordering mine this next week. It will be great ball please reach out if you have any question about equipment
Joshlapham@ymail.com . All Lord Field/ Lane Masters stuff is great the best I have thrown and I have thrown almost everybrand. These 2 piece balls never die which is nice along with being tanks when they hit he pocket

You expect someone not from the company to have info on a ball that isn't out yet? I don't get what your problem is with what crazy smooth said. He didn't bash anything, he just thinks the devastation will be a great ball and he's not the only person to say that about the 2 piece balls, lots of people have said that
-
You our correct, two-piece balls hit much better then the three-piece with that cheap filler. I believe that is what is being said.
-
I found out L/f and lane masters use quality fillers and no fillers they outlast anything out there ! Period. !

Sorry you feel that way about my post but it is the truth ever ball company has great equipment it is just matching what that ball does up to your game. I am honest person and have thrown other brands. Lord Field / Lane Masters makes great equipment in general. I don't like storm equipment due to they always die out and crack easily, but I am not bashing them it is my personal opinion we all have one. There is always one person who says something about you work for the company non sense we are here to help out. I will pick this family over any other, and we'll put our equipment against any other brands any day of the week.

+1 Josh. If I was to ask for help or opinions on a particular ball from a particular company, is hope some staffers from that company would help me out. That ball has been out maybe a week and you expect a non staffer to be throwing it. Harness the information from the staffers and you'll get a true and honest assessment of the ball.

Great point this is where people can come to get info on product ask questions get knowledge about product to make an educated choice when it come to buying a ball

The Devistation is a beast. Threw it most of the weekend in 2 tournaments and did very well. Great strong arc and continuous back,

soon as i get mine i will post a vid and comparison with the original judgement. josh is a fairly new staffer with plenty of enthusiasm. i will stand up for him with everything he has said because it is true. he has reached out to me months before signing his contract so yes he has done some homework. that was for the guy with the smart comment. as for drilling recommendation, on my original judgement i went with a 55x5x55 layout which puts the pin above the bridge and cg between my pinky and index fingers. this gives me push thru the fronts with a smooth predictable motion to the pocket and keeps the pins low. i do plan on drilling the devastation similar. if you need further assistance you can refer to my youtube page, tmoore1914. thanks

forgot to say, yes, this is great equipment, long lasting as well. I've thrown ebonite, roto grip, storm, and brunswick. this equipment stacks up with all I've listed IN MY OPINION. to each his own, but as i tell everyone else. Don't judge until you try it for yourself.

Agreed, I was one of the people who was reluctant to throw lord field, and after throwing them for about 4 months now I have nothing but lf in my bag. Great product and an even better family.
