I recently added about 3/16" to my span and went from no finger grips to grips.  Wow, nothing remotely reacts the same.  I added nearly 10-12all boards to everything in my bag.  Now i need to figure out how to loft the ball so when my front end oil is gone, i can still keep it to the right pocket.

It could be because you're hitting up on it now?  More hook doesn't necessarily mean you're doing things the right way....I would expect a little more, but 2 arrows is a bit much to chalk up to a slight grip change.

Ball speed at least seems a little quicker, something i have been working on, but no speedometer available for conformation.  I have always had a 6-12 o'clock release, but have been working on a 7:30-1:30 release.  Both releases have added more hook with the expansion,  i also attribute some hook to adding in the inserts..  my c-system 2.5 was a nice sorta down and in ball, but now it is a beast, and when the head oil goes away, it is unusable.
