Bean's Secret Sauce for low Rev Bowlers?
« on: July 31, 2007, 04:30:29 AM »
I was wondering if Bean's Secret Sauce would work for a Stroker style bowler with a low Rev rate?

The best thing to stop that is to sand the ball to a duller/lower grit.  Try 320 or 400 grit wet with the Secret Sauce.  You can get different reactions by your ending surface and then the polish.  Hope this helps!!

It seems to work for me.  I'm a stroker with a rev rate of 200 as measured by CATS.

When I needed to get more length, I did put a higher grit finish on the ball first and then the Sauce.  I am waiting for leagues to start up again so I can see what happens on the THS, but on the summer conditions, I have been going up to 2k or 4k first.
