PWBA Las Vegas Open on TV
« on: June 01, 2016, 07:07:31 PM »
For those who are following the PWBA, the Las Vegas Open will be on CBS Sports Network on June 7th at 9pm Eastern Time.  Then, it will repeat at 2:30am.  But in between, you'll get your fill of college bowling as multiple shows will air.

It's a shame its on CBS sports again. I do like the way they do their telecasts, but don't get the channel so have to watch it sometime later

I'm guessing that CBSSN is offering good deals to draw new programming.   They just spent the last four evenings airing the $300K buy-in Super High Roller live (well, first few days with a delay of 30 minutes or an hour).  Began at 7P Central each night and ran until 2A, with the Final Table going 7P to just past 3A.

Have no idea whether Aria ponied up or someone else, because it was a negative rake tournament, meaning they actually had no money pulled out of prize fund for expenses and actually had some added money to get to the $15M prize pool (49 entrants with no rebuys).

Thing that sucked was seeing the same five or six commercials...not sponsors, the same effing commercials!
