Title: 2016 Junior Gold Championships Live YouTube Stream
Post by: Necromancer on July 22, 2016, 09:49:32 AM
It's a great stream if you want to get inside info.  I didn't know it at the time, but I was leaving comments in the live feed and someone named Wes was explaining to me about the lanes and the transition.  I later realized that I was talking to Wes Malott!

Check it out!  :)

Yeah I thought it was just a couple of regional bowlers or those that work on Bowl TV.  The other one was Blair who I recognize is on WPBA tour.  But yeah Wes is cool.  He continued to answer or comment on questions.  The one I asked about was why people were moving more and more to the left and some past the left gutter.  I mentioned in the chat they should get a weaker ball and play it up 10.  He originally said that wasn't a good strategy but explained what was happening.  Then he said my idea would be good if it became too hard to loft it over gutter.  I bet most other PBA bowlers would have just called me an idiot and moved on haha!  But the other commentators said it was a good question.

Only complaint is that they didn't start livestream sooner during qualifying.

Would have been nice to look for bowlers we know to watch since being there in person is an option for most friends and family.

No commentators needed for that portion. Just the livestream would have been great.
