Bowlers can win more money in ABT than KOH 2018....

Haven't been following the PBA nor BR posting much...but just watched the King of the hill 2018.. Marshal said the winner gets $2000 lol......where's bowling headed? The PBA?

I just bowled a tourney this weekend and the turnout wasn't as big as years past from what I heard, but always fun....

This KOH event was a lead in tournament to the TOC. It seemed to be more about pride than anything else.

I remember when Bob Learn shot 300 on TV and got $100k back in 93. And i remember Mika winning $250k for winning the TOC in 2011. Bowling has been heading backwards for while now and sponsorship's aren't what they once were and until something is done to change things, 25k/50k will be top prizes.

Which is why it seems like pros are more ball/product salesman as their primary profession these days as well.  Have to make a living somehow.

Oh, the King of Bowling. I assumed there was an actual king of the hill tournament somewhere.

King of Bowling is a best of 3 match for show. I’m surprised they even get $2000 for that.
