The new Storm Dimension seems like it might be the best heavy oiler. Wait another week for it, it looks promising.

You will not go wrong with either......both are fantastic balls for big oil. I have a Cell and love it, but have seen the Resurgence and am very impressed by it.

Better ball would probably be the Cell.  I bet the Resurgence hooks more though.  Just my opinion.

for my cell i dont expect a big backend with it but it will ROLL the whole way down and make a nice strong but smooth move off the dry.

I would go Cell. Don't get me wrong I have have seen the Resurgence roll great. But you can drill the Cell to go a little longer and it will get a strong backend. The Cell is the ball for sure.

I had a resurgence,good ball for heavy oil.the problem I had with it was if the shot pushed you in the resurgence had nothing left to recover.but that's something you would expect to see from an oiler.if you want a back end reaction I would look at the cell or maybe a blast zone but if you want an early smooth straight line reaction the resurgence is a good choice.

Heavy oil is rare over here. But when "real heavy" oil is applied you can see the Resurgence players rule the top 10. I have to mention the Cell is here a very hyped ball so the players tend to tame this monster to play it on more medium conditions where the Resurgence is absolute no option.

In general thats the deal around here, until this bad big ugly guy appears. He is using a very dull AMB Centaur Particle. No one can control this monster but him. This ball is rolling in a very unique unspectacular way in heavy oil and does nothing in any other condition, so nobody likes him, his ball or the way he dominates heavy oil days.

If you have speed and a little less hand,  I would go Resurgence. If not, I would go Cell.  I feel the Cell will get you thru the night better, and has a little more backend.  However if you just want a raw oil ball,  then I would go Resurgence.  I would bring the Resurgence up to 2000 pad.

Well the Dimension is a a little less overall hook than the Cell but has more backend.The Cell is by far the better choice, because it is more continuous through out the whole lane.Don't get me wrong the Resurgence seems to roll ok, but you are going to get an early read with a smooth backend (think hook/set) compared to the resurgence.
