Lets say you have a 4 ball arsenal....one for heavy, one for mid heavy to medium, one for medium to dry and one spare...my question is do you play the same line for all ? eg you start with a heavy oil ball, then it over hook u change to another ball, do you play the same line as before or you actually shift your line ?

I use to think that until I talked with Dave Husted. You use whatever ball and play whatever line that gives you the most room right to be able to control the pocket. Hopefully I said that right.

It all depends entirely on how the lanes break down. For example, as the shot dries up and there's more friction, you may find you actually have to move even further after switching balls because it conserves energy and reacts stronger on the back part of the lane.
My general method is to pick a breakpoint based off where the friction is, then find a way to get there.
