My partner and I missed cashing in our scratch doubles tournament by 7 pins. We finished 410 over and I thought we would be in the money. I guess 10th out of 34 isn't bad but I am still disappointed. The first day we finished 146 over and the second day 264 over for the 410 total.
Last year I bowled with another partner and we finished wayyyy lower than 10th. We only had 33 over after the first day and finished 400+ overall.
Overall, I don't know what is worst: losing by alittle or losing by alot. Either way I am disappointed and heartbroken b/c of one missed spare. Even though I only had three games under deuce, I struggled with multi-pin spares.
I guess you can't appreciate victory without the agony of defeat.....

Almost as disheartening as finishing 28th in the last PBA regional and seeing the top 26 go to match play. Missed the cut again, this time by 26 pins. If I had just switched balls earlier...

That wasn't even close to the top 5. The winners were 679 over....that is huge.

My fault, 264 not 246.
