899 Series rolled at Plano Super Bowl tonight

I wanted to say congrats to Bill Fong who shot 300-300-299 tonight in the Monday Mixers 6PM league at Plano Super Bowl in Plano Texas. He left a ringing 10 pin on the last ball.

I wasn''''''''t there tonight to bowl as I am working but Gary (gsback) who posts on here alot texted me after Bill threw his last ball.

Once again Congrats Bill!!

Big congrats go out to Bill.  I don't know him but to do that is nothing short of amazing, regardless of the circumstances.

It's been mentioned that he switched balls.  Does anyone know what he used?

That is incredible. Plano Super Bowl is one of the easiest bowling centers in Texas and everyone in Dallas/Fort Worth knows it but may not admit it. I''ve only got to practice out there a few times so can''t really judge that completely but that house every week in the local bowling paper has an 800 every week or high 700''s and 1 or 2 or more 300''s a week...it tops the bowling centers in the whole metroplex it seems. But you still have to make quality shots to get an 800 anything or it doesn''t matter!

But so what about that! Anyone who says anything negative about it is jealous. I am assuming that is the state record?
