A Detroit/Metro Area BR Summer Get-together ?!

Thoughts ?

Let's tally up how many people we have.....easily close to 20 I think....then pick a good month for most....and try to set it up!?

Whos in ? and who's got ideas ?

EDIT: REMINDER...even if you're not sure if you can make it,...if you're from the Detroit area in general or even close....respond so we can at least get a POTENTIAL outcome and will be easier to set something up....thx

due to some strained muscles in my back on sunday......i'm going to need to take it easy for a bit......I still want to do this......it would be fun...but I'm not going to set a date until I'm feeling a little better......

I was thinking July in the first place...but we'll see

i've been taking 2 every 6 hours since sunday night........thank God I only strained some muscles........it's getting better every day.....but I don't want to push it either !

Yeah Jeff, get your head out of your arse here.  We're waiting patiently!!!  haha.

Do you think maybe Ann Arbor or Jackson might be a good place right in the middle of Lower Michigan for all of us to meet?  Or are you planning on keeping it in your neck of the woods?

There are some cool, smaller, family run centers around the state that would take us in like family.  Let me know what your thoughts are and I'll help in any way that I can, or I can butt out too!!!

I'm not opposed to Ann Arbor...Jackson is pushing it though...HOWEVER....

I do have a decent rapport with 2 houses that are local,...both in Livonia..the little 20 lane old wood house, Wonderland....and KOTM's place,...Merri-Bowl ...

I would think ,...because of what happened to my back.....end of July would make most sense...maybe first week in August ?

For me personally, the 1st weekend of August would be out.  I'll more than likely be down in Cleveland bowling the Kickoff Classic.  The 31st of July I am running a sport tourney in Jackson, so I could probably stay overnight Saturday night in Ann Arbor and get together with the get together.  By all means, don't schedule this around me because my schedule is so full anyways!!!  

I'll make it if I can.  That's for sure!!!  But July 30th weekend would probably work out good, and I suppose if people wanted they could come over to Jackson to bowl my sport tourney too.

I'd go, except for the 9+ hour drive, that is. Sometimes it sucks, living up here in the U.P. Too bad my parents don't live in Marshall anymore, that was only a couple hours away.
