Purple Hammer was one of the hookingest urethanes especially when drilled leverage with a balance hole.

The Purple Hammer was a fine ball - but my fave purple has to be another Faball - the pearl Nail (reactive). Basic light bulb core - Neoflex reactive (same awesome cover as the Blazing Violet 3-D Offset series. Still have it sitting in the garage. Too much oil nowadays to warrant taking it to league - it's a seldom used "arsenal ball" right now.
