Adjusting to tight finger inserts

What do you guys do when your fingers swell where you have to squeeze them into your inserts?  I've loosened them up a little with some acetone, but then the grips are too smoothed out.  

Is there a type of adjustable finger insert out there?

Actually they do.  There was as problem from the shirt supplier, however I was just sent a box of new shirts.  I have to take photos of them and put them online.  I'll get to that soon.

So much to do.... so little time...

I use a Lipsil stick on the edges of my fingers, ie the knuckle and just below.
You have to be careful not to get it on the pad of your finger, but it definatly helps stop the rubbing and blisters that you get.

Going to tell you the SILLY THING I do .. it helps me .. so I DO IT! Seems like I have my TIGHT THUMB HOLE problem in the HOT months. It maybe the fact that I WAS leaving balls in the car TRUNK .. well, any way, what I did was .. got a thumb SLUG from my driller equal to the size I use. Carry it with me in the car. When driving to the CENTER on bowling nights I put CHAP-STICK on my thumb and work it in to the SLUG .. when I get to the CENTER I use a napkin to dry the thumb .. by the time I get in to throw the 1st ball .. the thumb FITS! CRAZY .. but it works EVERY TIME! Bet it would work on FINGER INSERTS also!

Drilling the same size hole and using the same size finger grips and glueing them the same way still allows a slightly different feel in different balls. My pro shop guy says different ball construction causes different balls to be under different amounts of "compression" which in turn, "squeezes" the grips in the ball. While I do not understand this it seems to be true as the finger grips in my plastic spare balls seem looser and the others seem tighter (and not EXACTLY the same!).

I agree with what you say dicnic. There are different cire textures which allows holes to size different at times.
