Hey, today I noticed while bowling that my ball has more of a forward spinning motion instead of sideways, does this mean I am a full roller? 3/4 roller? half? semi? And what kind of drilling would I use to get a nice back-end snap?

You're throwing a semi-roller now. Cuz I've seen a semi-roller throw his ball. If you want more backend snap and want to stay with your same drilling then I think you should release your ball at 4:00 or three o'clock. that should give it more angle. And then if it is still going smooth. Then find some oil and throw it a bit faster. And when it hits the dry it should snap. Hopes this help!!!!!!!

Well I mean I know that, but, when I got my ball drilled I didnt throw like this, I spun it more sideways, my form has changed. IF I were to get another ball drilled, how should I go about it?

What is your layout now? Where is the pin located? Where is the track on the ball (high, med, or low)? We need more info to help, please.

My layout is pin about 1 inch below and to the right of ring finger, cg about 2 inches kicked out right. And Im not sure of the EXACT track, but it is in betweenhigh and medium. It rolls about 3 inches from the center of the ball if u look at it with the fingers straight up.

Throw the ball in the oiliest part of the lane... don't wipe the oil rings off, have the proshop guys measure your pap (positive axis point). Then based on this you can discuss the kind of reaction you need. regards

Hey this isn't a bad thing from my experience! A more forwarded roll might not hook as much, but in my experience it seems to carry just as well!

Forward roll is desirable in oiler conditions or sometimes whith carry down. good observation!
