Airport security...
« on: August 28, 2003, 06:47:52 AM »
Just saw this back on hometown news website.

http://www.koin.com/webnews/20033/20030827_tsa.shtml

They actually confiscated a Roto Grip Clear Grenade bowling ball.

Be careful when you're travelling and use purely ROto Grip equipment, because your spare ball might be confiscated.

Mr. Buzzsaw/John F.

If I were you, I would also carry copies of Lane#1's website pictures showing the balls and their names. Can't be too careful. If they confiscated the Grenade ball (how would you get the grenade out of a solid shell of plastic?), some people would confiscate anything.

No my friends lived! And they thank their friend every day for forgetting his film!

However, like many people who work in the financial field I worked with the
Alger funds.

I understand your point AMB1.

I hope everyone understands mine.  This is not about 3000 people dying.
This is about how lucky we were 25 to 40,000 people didn't die and how much our enemies desire a body count of over 250,000 along with destroying high profile targets.  Our White house, Capital, etc.

While you and I and our friends go to work to devote our lives to make better widgets, selling better widgets, improving peoples's financial status, or spiritual for the more enlightened of us.

There are people devoting their whole wretched lives to creating enemies in their minds(even civilians) and plotting their destruction.

If you are religious and you believe there is a devil, he must be proud!

We can do nothing less than fight for our survival and existence of a wonderful way of life at every front.

That reminds me of an incident that I had when I was leaving Reno after the ABC Nats back in 1995.  I had one of the souvenir bowling pins in my carry-on bag, and when it went through the X-Ray scanner, the fellow running the scanner unit looked at me and said "been bowling lately?".  When I asked him how he knew, he said that he could see my bowling pin in my carry-on bag.
