It says you may need more surface on the same ball with the same drilling to get a similar reaction on the same oil pattern than a guy with the same axis tilt, same asxis rotation, same revs, and same speed but higher track (say 5 1/2"). You see the start of the number of variables involved.
Much more would be hard to say. Oh, the implication is that, IF all the other variables are IDENTICAL, you will get more length and a more flippy reaction with the same surface of the same ball than the higher track guy gets. His reaction, on the same oil pattern, will be sooner and smoother in the backend, IF you play the same line.
