More 800's than 300's?

I just wanted to see how many people, including myself, have more 8's than 3's.  I have 4 800's and 3 300's.

I can tell you that the ABC records prove out that there is 4.5 300 games for every 1 800 series, based on the number of each shot every year.  If you went as far as to include 299 games and 298 games with the 300's, the ratio of honor score games to 800 series is probably closer to a 15:1 ratio.  

I had posted just last week about an individual in my area who has shot 4 800 series, yet he has never shot a 300, 299, or 298 game!....needless to say, considering a total of 4 800 series (and the ratio would be around 15:1 for a single 800 series), the odds of him doing this are pretty incredible.  He told me that his high game is only 289, which he has shot many times....he has never gotten past the 10th frame, yet he has 4 800 rings.

So, I would have to say that your total of 4 800's to 3 300's is pretty much against the odds as well.

I had a friend that shot 800 that hasn't shot a 300 yet.  I also have a friend with two 290's, a 298, 2 299's, all of those within the last year and a half, but no 300 or 800, I don't think he even has a series over 750, but he averages over 210.  His sister was the girl that prebowled nearly all year last year (as some of you remember in my frequent rants), in the process getting her first 300.  As for myself, I have one 300, the next closest is one 290, and my high series is 763.  I prebowled a 770 that got me a 750 medal this year, but I really don't count it because I LOATHE prebowling.  I had to pay 9 bucks whether I showed up or not though, so I figured I might as well get in the easy average padding.
