Anyone using any of the Circle Athletics?
« on: July 27, 2005, 01:30:29 AM »
I have been using nothing but Brunswick for the past 2 years but I have been wanting to try some of these balls from Circle. I have a Hero coming and I am currently working on getting a Mega Idol. Has anyone on here used any of these balls from Circle, and if you do how did you like them? If you are using any of these balls, could you tell me what kind of reaction you are getting and would any of them roll similar to a Brunswick. Thanks

Storm coverstocks on Circle Balls so they all go longer "in general" as supposed to Brunswicks all things being equal of course. I donated a super hero and mega idol to a buddy of mine locally.  They both hit good the super hero is partical pearl but is pretty tame its for medium to light oil maybe a little carrydown but not much unless you put some surface on it.  In box it really gets down the lane.  Mega idol is IMHO a really good medium ball nice solid coverstock simple core.  I took the polish off of it for him to about 800 or so smooth and it reads a lot better.  Good backend even at that surface.  Hit of both balls is really good.
