It's do to the antispam system.

What name did you use? I should be able clear it up for you.

They cleared it, Kevin(?) responded to my message and now I can log on....yeah it was the spam filter being sensative.....

I have went thru the same issue with two different user names. I can't get it to clear up for me.

I took a look and found your name "bigmike" and activated it for you.

Same problem for me.  I just tried signing up a few minutes ago and it says my email address is banned.  Can you please fix it for me?  Same username (duvallite) as here at ballreviews.

The name duvallite doesn't show to be registered at all, so there's nothing for me to fix.

I'll take a guess that it just rejected your email address and didn't complete the registration process.

So you would have to try re-registering and use a different email address.
